Choose the Right Survey Target
Choose the target pattern, dimensions and color together. Crosshair designs provide a defined center for sighting; checkerboard designs use contrasting quadrants as a visual reference. Match the pattern to your instrument and measurement workflow.
- Size: Listed options include 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 80, 100 and 150 mm. Confirm availability for the selected pattern.
- Color: The product photographs show silver/white, orange, fluorescent yellow-green and red/silver checkerboard examples. Choose a contrast that is easy to identify against the mounting surface.
- Instrument compatibility: Provide your instrument model, intended working distance and site conditions when requesting a sample. A photograph alone does not establish measuring range or accuracy.
Placement & Application
- Select a stable mounting point that remains visible from the measuring position.
- Clean and dry the surface, removing dust, oil and loose material. Check adhesion on the intended substrate before installing a full set.
- Align the target center with the required reference point. Peel away the backing and press the sticker evenly, including its edges, without stretching it.
- Check the installed target with your instrument. Record its location and inspect it before repeat measurements; replace a target if it moves, lifts or becomes damaged.
Questions Before Ordering
Can I use the same target for every instrument?
Confirm the target type and measurement settings required by your instrument manufacturer. Test the selected size and pattern under the conditions in which you will use it.
Does the sticker produce its own light?
No. This is a reflective target, not an illuminated marker or a glow-in-the-dark product. Its visibility depends on illumination and viewing geometry.
Can I specify a size or printed pattern?
Send a dimensioned drawing or reference image together with your quantity. Available patterns, sizes and any artwork requirements will be confirmed before ordering.
